If your laptop is always in the way consider next time you upgrade your TV, get one with a VGA IN option. Most modern flat panels will have this option and the price is steadily coming down. Run a VGA cable from your laptop VIDEO OUT to your VGA IN on your TV. Hook up a wireless mouse and keyboard and hide your laptop out of the way under the bunk. Velcro your mouse and keyboard and now your TV is a nice big computer monitor. You have more space and everything is secure.
Rear ports 3
The first part of the mod was deciding what ports I needed to include. Like my pervious mod , I intended to use an LCD TV with a VGA input for the monitor, so for this I needed a PSU, audio out, SCART in and aerial in. The latter two would definitely need to be routed to the outside of the case. I also needed expansion by way of a 4 port USB hub and a PS/2 port for a wired mouse - hey I was already conceding a mouse, there was no way I could make it wireless!
