relating to or causing or involving catalysis; "catalytic reactions"
(catalyst) something that causes an important event to happen; "the invasion acted as a catalyst to unite the country"
(catalysis) acceleration of a chemical reaction induced the presence of material that is chemically unchanged at the end of the reaction; "of the top 50 commodity chemicals, 30 are created directly by catalysis and another 6 are made from raw materials that are catalytically produced"
colorless gas found in natural gas and petroleum; used as a fuel
This page provides supplementary chemical data on Propane.
A flammable hydrocarbon gas of the alkane series, present in natural gas and used as bottled fuel
Propane is a three-carbon alkane, normally a gas, but compressible to a transportable liquid. It is derived from other petroleum products during oil or natural gas processing. It is commonly used as a fuel for engines, oxy-gas torches, barbecues, portable stoves and residential central heating.
A person or thing that heats, in particular a device for warming the air or water
A conductor used for indirect heating of the cathode of a thermionic tube
fastball: (baseball) a pitch thrown with maximum velocity; "he swung late on the fastball"; "he showed batters nothing but smoke"
A fastball
A heater is object that emits heat or causes another body to achieve a higher temperature. In a household or domestic setting, heaters are usually appliances whose purpose is to generate heating (i.e. warmth). Heaters exists for all states of matter, including solids, liquids and gases.
device that heats water or supplies warmth to a room
Stuff, stuff & MORE Stuff!!
In my younger day I hiked the wilds of the Salmon River Wilderness with 60 pds of gear including a rifle and fishing tackle. Can someone tell me why that bottle of wine and cork screw (let's not talk about the ten gallons of water, catalytic heater, propane tank and enough food for AT LEAST two weeks) weigh so much? What happened?!!
