Bad Heater Core - Large Aquarium Heater - Amish Fireplace Heaters.
Bad Heater Core
A heater core is a radiator-like device used in heating the cabin of a vehicle. Hot coolant from the vehicle's engine is passed through a winding tube of the core, a heat exchanger between coolant and cabin air.
A finned unit located in the passenger compartment and through which coolant from the engine flows to heat the unit. A fan blows air over the unit to heat the passenger compartment
The heater core is a miniature radiator that sits in the dashboard area. When the heater is turned on, it opens the heater valve which lets hot coolant into the heater core, which then warms the air coming into the vehicle's interior.

this is a badroom, not two bedrooms
The temperature inside this home - wayyyyyy up in the attic here, where the heat had risen up *into* - was about 40 dF when we toured inside it last weekend on the coldest day of the year. No electricity, no water. We brought flashlights to view the basement.
The weird and creepy empty house was one KD and I agreed to look at for possible purchase (before we toured it. Afterwards we were unanimous in our 'thumbs down' voting).
I was reminded of how creatively people describe properties in hopes of getting them sold - especially homes that have been sitting empty for 2 years. Two bedrooms indeed.
Last worst screw location
under the heater core pan, against the firewall, the last screw is hard to get to, it's directly above my thumb in the mirror; very difficult to get to, cramped space makes it hard to even change your MIND much less the heater core
