My Nuevo Car!!!
I was fixing our car with new tires (some punk flattened two of them...) at our fiat dealer when he told me to stop looking at the miniature 500 and take a look in the showroom. I could only think: why? The fiat 500 is scheduled for November 19th to be in the showrooms in the Netherlands, but somehow my dealer got one fiat 500 earlier... My eyes dropped at sight. Cute, Sporty, Practical... This car has it all. The next 2 hours I spent talking about the car (and how I could get one =) ) and getting my D50 for some shots! This one was taken by the owner of the garage with me in the new 500! I needed a souvernir to take home and I couldn't take the car so the photo has to do...
Best Car Ever
I bought this car in 1970 or 1971 for 25 or 50 dollars the first thing I did I change the oil when I pulled the plug It would not drain. so I ran a quart of diesel for about 10 mins cleaned out all that non detergent oil. So you might want to know why I loved this car so much, it never failed me I had very little money and I drove this car all the time from Sacramento to LA at that time the new I 5 had next to no gas stations or food I could make this trip on one tank of gas and young enough to do it in a day I think it took me 12 to 13 hours.
