Pilgrim Statue Visitation / Holy Relics Speaking Presentation Event: Josol Family Residence, 06/07/2010

Pilgrim Statue Visitation / Holy Relics Speaking Presentation Event: Josol Family Residence, 06/07/2010

On the cool Monday evening of June 7th, 2010, I was cordially invited by the Josol Family of neighboring Kaneohe Town to conduct my standard speaking presentation about Saints and Holy Relics in their family home. In attendance was about 25+ members of their family, as well as members from their large, close-knit prayer group. As part of the presentation, I set up a makeshift altar on which I displayed Our Lady's pilgrim statue and seven Holy Relics for the veneration of those present.

From the beginning, the entire evening was filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit as we opened the presentation with Praise and Worship songs led by members of their group. As the presentation and slideshow progressed, the interest of the audience was evident given the numerous questions that were asked during and after the talk. I was happy that many people were inquiring on where to buy books about Saints, and I directed them to several of my favorite online Catholic sites where I regularly purchase books.

In the end, based on the positive feedback I received, plus an invitation to do a presentation at another private home, it appeared that the evening was a great spiritual success... as always, for the greater Glory of God, the Blessed Mother, and the Saints (see the Comments Section for additional photos).

+ A Testimony from Mrs. S. Pokipala:
"Thanks, Peter, for a most informative presentation! You really helped us to appreciate our Saints more and to call on them for our intercession."

Pilgrim Statue Visitation / Holy Relics Speaking Presentation Event: St. Anthony of Padua Church, 09/26/2010

Pilgrim Visitation & Holy Relics Presentation: September 26th, 2010

On September 26, 2010, my home parish of St. Anthony's Church invited me to give a talk/presentation about the relevance of Our Lady and the Holy Rosary in Catholic spirituality. The presentation was part of a pilot program aimed at educating our parish community about various topics concerning our Faith. The event was publicized in our Church Bulletin and was well-received based on the positive feedback I received from several adult parishioners. Even the children present seemed to have enjoyed it, especially the many pictures that were shown during the slideshow.

In fact, what touched me the most about this particular event was seeing several of the children spontaneously rush up to the altar, after the presentation was over, to take a closer look at the Holy Relics of four Marian Saints that were present for public veneration: St. Bernadette of Lourdes, Bl. Bartolo Longo, and Blesseds Francisco & Jacinta of Fatima. Some of the kids even said short prayers in their own little way, which made all the preparation work for the presentation worthwhile and meaningful (see the Comments Section for additional photos).
