My overnight kit as of fall 2007 for a trip with expected weather dropping to the low 30s at night. Trying out a few new toys here (namely the ThinLight sleeping pad and Montbell insulated pants). Base weight 11 pounds.
Note in hindsight: this kit could have taken me comfortably into the high teens. (including the Smartwool lightweight zip-T I wore all trip and the Ibex Woolies bottoms I carried in that green stuff sack.)
