Commercial Cooktops
- Having profit, rather than artistic or other value, as a primary aim

- Concerned with or engaged in commerce
- The typographic character @, called the at sign or at symbol, is an abbreviation of the word at or the phrase at the rate of in accounting and commercial invoices (e.g. "7 widgets @ $2 = $14"). Its most common modern use is in e-mail addresses, where it stands for "located at".
- Making or intended to make a profit
- A cooking unit, usually with hot plates or burners, built into or fixed on the top of a cabinet or other surface
- (Cooktop) A kitchen stove, cooking stove, cookstove or cooker is a kitchen appliance designed for the purpose of cooking food. Kitchen stoves rely on the application of direct heat for the cooking process and may also contain an oven, used for baking.

Corrine's Kitchen at Fairfield Gonzales Community Association
We've only done the workshop in our kitchen at the Vancouver Food Bank. Thanks to a grant from Campbell Company of Canada, Fresh Choice Kitchens was able to run our Community Kitchen Leadership Workshop in Victoria. The workshop was held at Corrine's Kitchen at Fairfield Gonzales Community Association. It was a neat experience to work in a 900 sq ft commercial kitchen! It had stainless steel countertops, gas grill and oven, electric cooktop, commercial fridge and a Hobart sanitizer!

In the foreground is the custom magnetic-induction cooktop with handpainted tiles. In the background is a gas cooktop and commercial wok. A custom hood with display conceals two 1500 cfm exhaust fans. The custom mural between the cooktop and the hood was painted by the same tile artist.
