I don't know why, but I never photographed their sign when it was still there. Stupid, I guess. Sometime in the past few years, it was torn down and replaced with a very bland back-lit plastic one, with their new name, "Victory Inn & Suites". I'm really not too sure what the clientel is like there now, but the few times I've seen people around it, they seemed kinda questionable to me. This was (and is) a really large motel. It's 66 rooms are all in one long row. I believe this card is from sometime in the mid 60's, since the "US-16" designation has been gone since 1964.
Your "inn" spot
Boy, whoever worked on the white sign is clever. With the "your 'inn' spot" and "we sell sleep" lines, this person should be in marketing or advertising. Well, I guess they are by default if they create a marketing piece, eh? This is a sweet old motel that is corny and classic. A real "inn" spot, I suppose.
