My first flash photo
I'd never taken flash photographs before (and never took another until I owned a digital) but when a pal asked if I wanted to borrow his flashgun while he popped over to the buffet for a Lyons individual fruit pie and a cup of BR chicory substitute, I thought I might as well have a go at it. We were at Bristol Temple Meads. I didn't record the train but the "Peaks" were the regular motive power on trains from the Midlands and further north. The locomotive belonged to Toton Depot and the V of the train describer code tells us that the train originated outside the Western Region. Photograph taken Friday 10th October 1975.

Il flash da fastidio in certe circostaze, ma e' anche necessario in caso di buio intenso o cmq per far venire nitide le foto (almeno con la mia compatta canon). Cosi' ho studiato vari metodi per attenuare l'intensita' del flash. Come potete vedere ottengo diverse rese a seconda del filtro usato.
