What Photo Editing Software

Point + Shoot cameras are wonderful, they're convenient and easy to use, but the photos they produce can be difficult to edit and it's usually a case of just deleting bad photos and keeping the good/okay ones. This is all instant, no waiting and it's what people are used to.
SLR cameras shooting in RAW combined with photo editing software give you so much more scope for touching up photos before they're released. Editing takes time and means you have to wait, but you can't argue with the results.
Day Sixteen: So that's what the sunrise looks like!
Since I am on vacation I do not have access to any photo editing software except for Picnik. While it would appear that I did some editing of colors on this shot, I didn't. The only thing I did was add my name.
I noticed the sun shining through the other side of the plane and looked out my window and this is what I saw. It was so beautiful that I ALMOST thought about waking up early enough each morning to watch the sunrise! =]
