New office in our new house on Henry St., in Brooklyn Heights.
New--from 1820.
Theodore Tilton (abolitionist, suffragist, lecturer, editor, poet, novelist, chess master) lived here for about five years. He was famously cuckolded by Rev. Henry Ward Beecher, his long-time mentor, resulting in the mammoth Beecher-Tilton sex scandal of 1875, which prompted more headlines than the Civil War.
He also had a significant affair with Victoria Woodhull, the first female presidential candidate; Wall Street stockbroker, suffragist, spiritualist medium, actress, free-lover.
(I have a monster crush on him.)
The house is yellow. I'll take photos of it soon.
It's a 1BR made out of what was originally the second-floor study. J & I have our offices in the little bedroom; mine's in the big bay window which projects over the entrance pillars. (As you can see, it's the best office ever.)

My editor John works on the covers for the Daily Review at the Spring Fair International show at the NEC. The photographers who share the room like the lights off to colour match their photos..
