Pioneer Memorial Library/Historic Gillespie County Courthouse (Fredericksburg, Texas)
A view of the Pioneer Memorial Library in Fredericksburg, Texas. Designed by Alfred Giles and completed in 1882, the Italianate structure served as the courthouse for Gillespie County until a newer courthouse opened next door in 1939. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Texas Historic Landmark. In the foreground is a fountain dedicated to former County Judge Victor H. Sagebill.
