90% of Chinese 592 million mobile subscribers are powered by ARM technology

ARM has not only introduced its industry-leading embedded system technologies and solutions to Chinese semiconductor and electronics industry, but also invested to expand the ARM Connected Community, the industry’s largest network of Partners, in China.

Today ARM China has three offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen. More than 50 Chinese partners have licensed ARM technologies, and some of these companies have started mass production and shipment of ARM Powered products.

After years of cobbling together design work with an underpowered computer and outdated, often unlicensed software, my employer finally invested in some professional equipment for me this week. This Mac Pro computer will be running Adobe's CS3 software.

The last few years I've had to be very resourceful to get the results I wanted from the tools I was using. I feel like I picked up a lot of useful skills that way but ultimately the projects took longer than they needed to and the end results were alwaya a little (or a lot) less polished than I thought they could or should be. I had very little formal training in this line of work and I still have so much to learn. But I feel like I know enough to be dangerous now and I'm anxious to see the work I can produce with some precision instruments in my hands.
