Pool has always been one of the favorite "sports" of the pinoys. I played a few games here and there to be decent enough to sink a few balls in but not good enough to win a game if money was involved.

We recently bought a pool table at work after a long debate with the women in the branch. You see we had some extra cash in our misc fund that we all regularly contribute to for social gatherings. We all decided it was time to use the funds but for something different this time rather than a dinner. A games table was suggested and it boiled down to the pool table or an air hockey table. Now there are only 4 boys in the branch vs 12 other girls. Needless to say we lost the vote and were to buy an air hockey table instead. The men wouldnt have it so we showed the girls the stupidity in getting an air hockey table over a pool table. In the end it we had them all sign a petition against it and ended up getting the pool table.

The men were trusted with organizing of the pick up and set up. We took a saturday afternoon to get it all up a flight of steps but it was worth it!
