The Pas Minor Hockey
- Minor hockey is an umbrella term for amateur ice hockey which is played below the junior age level. Players are classified by age, with each age group playing in its own league. The rules, especially as it relates to body contact, vary from class to class.

The Perfect Day
Saturday, May 30th
I cannot believe 4 years have come and gone, but here we are in caps and gowns. 9 out of 14 Castle members graduated today. I woke up around 5:30 then we had breakfast in Apt 4. The large ceremony started at 9 and our speaker was Thomas Friedman. I've never read his books (notably, Hot, Flat, and Crowded and The World is Flat) but he was very engaging, I thought. Take-home messages: We're the "regeneration" and "Call Your Mom!!"
The weather was gorgeous and the day only continued to get better. My Mom and sis and I grabbed lunch at Kate's before the first group of my relatives arrived from PA. Spent a short time at the picnic before heading to my Engineering graduation at the Big Bob. I really enjoyed it, but then it hit me I'd never be seeing most of those people again. Hard to fully grasp, though.
I didn't make dinner reservations so we pulled out of the Bob and went to Matilda's, the Aussie restaurant. It was perfect: not crowded at all so all 12 of us walked in and sat right down. Our waiter Daryl (lol) was funny and we had a good time. Afterwards, all my family headed home except my cousin Brian and his friend Jared -- we went to Grottos to watch the Penguins play in the Stanley Cup, shot some hoops and played air hockey, met up with Rachel and went to Home Grown. The bartender bought me a drink -- he's the best -- and we stayed until closing. Continued the fun back at the Castle before Brian and Jared slept on the balcony and I snuggled with Rachel and it was the perfect ending to the perfect day.

My Dad and I try to go to at least one Phantoms game a year as a tradition.
The Phantoms won the game and there were a few good fights.
