Spring Thaw 2005 - 59
Spring Thaw, despite its name, is a Scout camp held in early summer near Pigeon Lake, Alberta. The Rover Crew (and the Venturer Company as well) ran a set of three events at the camp in 2005.
Lunch at camp is usually a pretty big deal, and certainly was in this case (we had such a great turnout for the camp that I was able to just take on the role of cook for the duration of the event) -- I had prepared a bunch of stuff beforehand.
Oh, and we baked a cake. In the coal fire. And put cream cheese icing on it. Because we could.
Spring Thaw 2005 - 01
Spring Thaw, despite its name, is a Scout camp held in early summer near Pigeon Lake, Alberta. The Rover Crew (and the Venturer Company as well) ran a set of three events at the camp in 2005.
This was the setup of our campsite. The tents were quite colourfully in contrast to the greenery behind and all around them.
