Pump Removal AN-106 at Hanford's Tank Farms
Tank farm workers got a break from the wind last week and were able to remove an obsolete pump and slurry distributor from double-shell tank AN-106. The tank receives waste from single-shell tanks in C Farm and removal of the equipment will allow the installation of a new pump and a new slurry distributor that will improve waste retrieval efficiencies.
