Part of our antique silver spoon collection, my favorite ones are the Russian enamel
by far the more desirable by any collector, we don't polish the silver
because with the patina is more desirable, if you polish or alter in any way
it loses 1/2 its value,
The first 2 are Russian enamel from 19 century, next 2 are French one silver and Ivory
from 18 century the next bone and brass, next is from Dresden Germany, next one is from Italy, next English gold over silver, next 2 from Holland, Next one is a rosewood spoon with silver coin from south America, and the last one is From the U.S.
Spoons are always given to one you love, the more ornate it meant that you love the person more,

Ring made from antique hand engraved spoon handle. I think this is coin silver, if not actual sterling, although not marked. I had a great aunt Nellie and like to imagine that it was hers, even though I bought the spoon at a flea market. Super thick, it took about 6 anneals to bend it. whew.. Recycled Feb 17, 2010.
