Copper Heart with 3 Strands of Copper and Sterling Silver
The heart pendant was hand made by me out of copper sheet. It has been polished and a microcrystaline wax has been added to help preserve the finish. I then added three different strands of copper and sterling silver beads and wove them together. The bead strands are connected to an extender chain and a hook clasp which I hand made. The bead strands were put on Soft Flex beading wire with a test strenght of 26 lbs.
The necklace can be worn at a length of 17 1/4" to 18 1/2" with the extender. The heart pendant is about 1" wide and hangs down to about 1".

I finally plucked up the courage to test out LOS, and am sooooo chuffed with the results :-) I am tempted to do my entire stash of jewellery! I found rubbing of the patina with steel wire really therapeutic after a day of studying :-)
