(hand mirror) hand glass: a mirror intended to be held in the hand
A mirror is an object with at least one reflective surface. The most familiar type of mirror is the plane mirror, which has a flat surface. Curved mirrors are also used, to produce magnified or diminished images or focus light or simply distort the reflected image.
Passionate Heart Pendant closeup angle
Now that Hans is cutting stones, I have to learn to set them!!! Here is a setting that I built to hold this spectacular Cubic Zirconia. The color is so intense and it reminds me of my heart pulsating with blood and energy.
This "morganite" cubic zirconia Hans cut from a pattern designed by Jeff Graham called "White Asterism". It weighs 12 carats. The pattern boasts 72.6 in light return with a mere 73 facets in 6-fold mirror-image symmetry. (I looked that up on the pattern page.)
Oriental Hand Held Mirror
This mirror is old - according to the old man who sold it to me though I doubt it's way way old :o) The handle is made from Jade (new ones are made of plastic - also according to him) and the silver is sterling silver that frames the porcelain bit. Mirror in good condition but box that it came in is not in a perfect condition.
