NH hotel Konigshof, Veldhoven, The Netherlands

So, I am back here again - in a hotel in the outskirt of a smaller village of Vendhoven in Netherland. This time, I spend several nights, checked out the restaurant, the bar and the breakfast, used the gym, jogged in the neighborhood and visited the restaurant and the supermarket in the village!
Not bad huh?

Here's the review:
Room:
It was not hot summer weather so being without fridge was no-good for a supermarket lover like me. I wanted to bring back some cheese from Netherlands ;(.
The amount of amenity has decreased. The basics such as tea/coffee, showergel, soap and shampoo was there but no showercap (which I use for to cover my dough when baking bread) and no hand sanitizing liquid.

Gym:
It get really hot in there so AC please! Otherwise, OK. You might have to line as they have just one/few of each mashine.

Breakfast:
Plenty and good. However, the breakfast room is depressing. They don't let you sit near the window, that section is shut off. No newspapers.

Dinner:
We had buffet. It was not terrific but not bad neither. More vegetables please.

Wifi:
Free wifi (blocking VPN) in the lobby area. 4 PC in the corridor.

Veldhoven village(~10-15 minutes walk away):
To be such a small village, they have quite some restaurants and shops. We tried the steakhouse which was good! However, all shops seem to close early, leaving only supermarket AH open.

Running:
Difficult to find the signed "forest walk". It was supposed to be 3km or so but the one I found was less than 1km. I ended up running on the bicycle path along the country road.

To sum up: not too bad during the summer time when you can walk over to Veldhoven village.

See also the pic of breakfast and the bathroom.
