Kitchen reconfigured. I cleaned some, it still needs more cleaning, there's about a decade of built up dirt and cooking grease layered over every surface. In some cases the grime has penetrated the paint to the point that taking off the grease means taking off the paint as well. I'm not going that far on this trip up here. So, it's as clean as it is going to get. But this is sooooo much cleaner than it was. And at least all the countertop surfaces are squeaky and sanitized.
57/366 Smiling Cup of Grease
I cooked hamburgers today, and as all the fat is released from the ground beef in the pan, I always poor it into a cup of water in stead of letting the burgers fry in all the excess fat. It is an attempt to be healthy - I'll let yo know how it turns out.
But when I was about to clean it out, I moved the cup, and the crust of fat broke into a smile, mocking me for making such an effort, probably completely in vain...
