I saw this sign on the window of my local dry cleaners and had to laugh, not just about the misspelling of organic but also about the meaning. I wonder whether they realize that in the world of chemistry, any chemical containing a carbon atom is considered an organic compound? So many of the chemicals that we know as "solvents" are indeed "organic", even the dry-cleaning solvent that they are apparently trying to say they don't use:
perchloroethene. Speaking of organic, since all normal foods contain carbon, I guess you can say that most foods are "organic"...except maybe those things they call Twinkies ;-)
