Remember add-a-bead necklaces from the 8o's and 90's? 19 years ago on a trip home from visiting my grandmother at Christmas, I was wearing this necklace in the car and it was bugging me so I took it off, wrapped it in a kleenex, and asked my mother to put it in the glove compartment for safe keeping. Long story short, somehow at a rest stop, the kleenex with my necklace in it got thrown out with some trash. I was crushed!!! Those little beads were not cheap and it had taken me many after school paychecks to buy the stupid thing!!! Fast forward to about a week ago.... my mom found an old wadded up kleenex in a bag in the attic and ta-da! ...the necklace lives!!!!! The chain is kind of beat up and I will probably never wear it but it does hold a lot of good memories from high school.
