Maple Leaf

There were some really big maple leaves on the trail. I picked one up, held it up to take a picture of it, and found the sun shining at a perfect angle to light up the leaf from behind. I couldn't have planned it better if I tried.

After living in Canada for two years, I grew quite fond of their famous maple leaf symbol. Whenever I see one of these big leaves, I will always think fondly of that wonderful country.
