anecdote of the week:
so - if you bum a cigarette from someone at a bar that you barely know - and said person warns you that she (let us be honest - I) smokes the most generic of cigs in an ultra light 100 and that they are really really weak, please take from this 1) the person you are bumming from is really poor, so 2) after you borrow cig, don't either put it out in disgust a second later (that's my money you are extinguishing!) or complain about it and make faces. i warned you, and honestly would have preferred to not have someone i barely know use me in such a manner anyhow. and, then, too, if you are going to smoke, buy your own cigs and then smoke them, or give them away or throw them away or store them in your glove compartment until the next time you go out. you see, offering a smoker a dollar for a cigarette defeats the purpose. most smokers plan their cigarettes for the night (like some people plan their outfits or match their underwear - fyi, i never understood this practice) and budget their smoking accordingly, to be short 5 cigarettes becomes a big problem.
