4.1.09 • dinner with the head (and sawyer)
My ex's little sister, who had Down Syndrome, called all Newman's Own salad dressings "the head." I do too, now :)
Trying to be a wee bit healthier than, you know, pierogies slathered in butter, by having a homemade chicken caesar salad. I rub the half a chicken breast with Mrs. Dash and cook it in a little olive oil, and I make croutons out of one slice of bread in olive oil and mrs. dash, too. I added tomatoes to this one, though I know that's not traditional, and I didn't sprinkle on any cheese. I *tried* to go easy on the salad dressing.
The drink is something I should probably work on eliminating, but I'm in SUCH an anti-water phase I can't bear to. It's Crystal Light, which, you know, is 5 calories a serving, except I'll drink the whole damn 64 ounces of it in one day, sometimes 1.5 days if I'm cutting it with a lot more water. That's only 40 calories, I know, but water is 0.
Caesar Salad
This caesar salad is yum - although it looks pretty sinful but it taste sooo good!
