The poem "Believe" has been selected for an anthology of verse, titled Island Mists, scheduled to be published by the Poetry Institute of Canada in January 2011.
About the author: A professional journalist since 1996, Margreet Dietz has worked for Bloomberg News in Brussels, Toronto and Sydney respectively, and as a copy-editor at The Australian Financial Review in Sydney and at the Vancouver Sun.
In 2005 she received a Diploma with Distinction in Book Editing & Publishing from Macleay College in Sydney. Margreet's articles on running and triathlon have appeared in endurance sports magazines in Australia and Canada since 2006.
She is the author of three non-fiction books, Running Shoes Are a Girl's Best Friend, Powered From Within: Stories About Running & Triathlon and A Work in Progress: Exercises in Writing. Her books are in public library collections in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the U.S.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a master's degree in International and Comparative Law.
The five-time Ironman finisher has been focused on running since 2005. Still aiming to improve her marathon PB of 3:07, she has ventured into ultra-running. She finished her first 50-mile trail race in August 2010 and is training for her first 100km road run.
