The tough old D200 seen here with a pristine Nikkor 20-35 Aspherical f2.8 zoom lens (on loan). This lens belongs to a period when Nikon decided it was time to reconquer the camera world. Introduced in 1993, it was Nikon's first professional ultra wide zoom but was soon followed by the even better 17-35 ED zoom.
This monster metal lens was made with a ground aspherical element and not the cheaper molded and glued plastic aspheric elements that soon followed.

The huge problem I have with this lens is the DX conversion. It becomes a 30-52 mm zoom, far less interesting than the 20-35 it was meant to be.

Nikkor 12-24 mm zoom lens
Lens set at 24 mm
200 ASA
TTL fill flash at -0.3

My Equipment (May 2011)

I took this for the group that Digital Rev created called "My Camera, My Story".

Not much of an update on equipment all that much. Apart from I got a battery grip for my Nikon D200 and I also got a new bag, a Lowepro Flipside 300. Hopefully soon I will be adding a Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 and a Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 into my lens collection.
