NALGENE SYRINGE FILTER - WEB FILTER 610 - AIR FILTER SIZES FOR HOUSE.
Nalgene Syringe Filter
A syringe filter (sometimes called wheel filter due to its wheel-like shape) is a single-use filter cartridge. It is attached to the end of a syringe for use. Syringe filters may have Luer lock fittings, though not universally so.
Nalgene® is a brand of polyethylene plastic developed and manufactured by Nalge Nunc International. It is most widely known for its use in water containers for outdoor sports, though it was originally developed for laboratory storage containers.
This acrylic syringe filter utilizes the universal tissue culture membrane polyethersulfone (PES). This membrane offers higher flow rates, lower protein binding, and lower extractables than competitive cellulosic membranes. Inherently hydrophilic, it contains no external wetting agents. The sample volume range is 2-10ml with a 0.2µm filter pore size. The filter is supplied in a sterile acrylic housing which cannot be autoclaved. WARNING! All Nalgene Filterware is for research use only, not for in vitro diagnosis or parenteral. Certified sterile, non-cytotoxic, and non-pyrogenic. Material: acrylic housing with polyethersulfone (PES) membrane. Membrane diameter: 13mm. Pore size: 0.2µm. Sample volume size: 2-10 ml. Inlet: Female Luer Lok. Outlet: Male Luer slip. Certified sterile, non-cytotoxic, and non-pyrogenic. Sterile. 50/Case. Nalgene #: 180-1320.

Nalgene vs. Shotgun
This Nalgene was shot 3 times from 20 paces with a 12 gauge shotgun. Minimal damage was sustained and it barely leaked. It was then shot 2 more times from 10 paces, and only leaked a little bit more. Finally the bottom was shot from 5 paces and it cracked. What a great bottle. I doubt I would hold up that well to a 12 gauge.
Nalgene
My Nalgene bottle has been through a lot with me - around the world;
to my different jobs, day in and day out; on runs and hikes. I've even
driven a 4-5 ton truck over it, just to see what would happen.
nalgene syringe filter
This polypropylene syringe filter with PTFE membrane is used for filtration of aggressive chemicals, including acids and non-aqueous solvents, such as those used in GC and HPLC and for filtration of air and gases. The hydrophobic PTFE membrane must be wet with alcohol before use with aqueous solutions. Sample volume range is 2-10ml with a 0.45µm filter pore size. The filter is supplied in a non-sterile polypropylene housing. WARNING! All Nalgene Filterware is for research use only, not for in vitro diagnosis or parenteral. Non-sterile. Material: polypropylene housing with PTFE membrane. Membrane diameter: 13mm. Pore size: 0.45µm. Sample volume size: 2-10ml. Inlet: Female Luer Lok. Outlet: Male Luer slip. 100/Case. Nalgene #: 187-1345.
