i started by going to the real apollo website and taking some of the pictures of their products to use on my web design. than i made the text using the pen and text tools. i gave the text filters and effects. for the background i used the paint bucket to make the background black and added different colors. i lowered the opacity and put the apollo logo with a low opacity to add to the background.

At the time, Adobe Photoshop did not dither to the 256 "web-safe" colors, so Iconfactory's Craig Hockenberry and I came up with a "Webmaster" plug-in that provided web designers with greater control over their visual end-product. Then, of course, in Photoshop's next update, Adobe got hip to the web, and our market began to dry up. Nevertheless, the product sold for quite a while.
