Laguna Pressure-Flo 3200 UVC Filter

Pressure-Flo Filter 3200 UVC is an all-in-one filtering system that keeps pond water clear and healthy. The high performance filter provides important water filtration functions that are essential for everyday pond maintenance: mechanical and biological filtration, as well as UVC sterilization. Pressure-Flo 3200 is designed to work in tandem with a solids-handling pump such as Laguna's Max-Flo circulating pump. With the filter connected to the pump, water enters the unit through a water inlet. It then passes through the mechanical filtration stage, consisting of foam filters that intercept and trap dirt and debris. Next, water enters a biological filtration chamber where it comes into contact with Biospheres biomedia which harbor beneficial bacteria that keeps the water healthy. Dirt-free water then passes along an integrated UV-C lamp, where it is exposed to ultraviolet rays that inhibit the growth of single-celled algae organisms. Water finally returns to the pond thoroughly cleansed. Pressure-Flo features a revolutionary Backwash-Cleaning System that completely cleans the entire surface of the foam filters. This patent-pending system is the only one of its kind. Backwash cleaning can easily and comfortably be done in a few minutes without opening the lid. This feature ensures that the filter performs at optimal levels for many days and prolongs the time between full maintenance sessions. An easy-view cleaning indicator signals when it's time to perform backwash cleaning. Pressure-Flo 3200 UVC is for ponds up to 3200 U.S. gallons.

I was putting mums & pumpkins out on the porch yesterday and this beauty walked right up to me to say hello. He's a stray so I'm deciding whether to add him to our family or not -- having a small child makes it a big decision since we have no history on this pup.

Here is what makes this a really odd occurrence. Three weeks ago, I went to Petsmart to buy some aquarium filters and an adoption fair was going on. They had a Cur who I immediately became smitten with and all of my friends heard about it for days afterward. I had never even heard of a Cur before that day, so for one to just show up in my front yard seems like fate.

Didn't particularly like any of my shots from my day @ the aquarium, but me n my sis were bored on the train ride home and this happened. Charming, i know ;-)

I still have 29 mosquito bites from my adventure in the woods, and probably will not be going back to take more pics. Sadness.

In other news, I just found out what a Holga is a few hours ago and bought one online, true to my impulsive nature. Suuuuper-de-duper excited about it!!!

TRF: I have FINALLY stopped biting my nails! {and i feel a lot girlier now- its interesting. I actually polish them a diff color like every 2 days. a bit obsessive, huh?}
