Furniture Pads For Carpet

Furniture is the mass noun for the movable objects ('mobile' in Latin languages) intended to support various human activities such as seating and sleeping in beds, to hold objects at a convenient height for work using horizontal surfaces above the ground, or to store things.

Best Laid Plans
New carpet was laid in my living room today (oh, if only *I* had such luck!) and tomorrow, the bedrooms and hallway will be done.
As I type this, most of the furniture and other clutter of my life has been gathered and piled in most of the open space you see reflected here. My son Zachary has come by the last couple of days and has been a HUGE help with the moving. He also contributed to ripping apart a sixteen-year-old or so sofa-bed so that we could get it down to the dumpster. (It was a seven-footer with very large padded arms which I can barely remember getting through the door when I moved in.)
Once the bedrooms are done, the plan is to slowly and systematically and meticulously go through all my stuff before it leaves the living room. I have always wanted to live by the credo of "a place for everything; everything in its place" — now is a good time to make that happen.
The "big plan" (as I've just now dubbed it) is to keep this room almost as clear as you see it here and turn it into a studio. It's twelve-feet wide and about twenty-four feet long, although I'm also thinking about putting bookshelves on that far back wall as part of the APFEEIIP scenario.
Vintage Mod Doll House~a work in progress
This is one of my dollhouse rooms that I have been working on. This room backs up against a leaky window and is constantly having problems with water damage, so I am constantly changing it. The rooms are made out of cardboard, foam board, vintage Barbie Townhouse backdrops and paper. I've recently covered the damaged floor with decorative paper, but I want to switch it out for a nice, neutral shag carpet.
