Electronic Generation day 196/365
I walked into my eldest son Austin's room today to find this scene. It's not enough to have 1 monitor, or even 2, but 3 seems to be the optimum number for him! We bought him a flat screen monitor a couple of years ago for Christmas. Then, when our desktop computer died, he took our monitor so that he had a dual set up. Then, he saved his money and purchased a 3rd tv type monitor. He usually has the tv monitor hooked up to his PS3, and the other 2 as a dual set up on his desk but today he had all 3 there.
I guess I'm of the wrong generation because I seem to be fine with one monitor that's attached to my laptop, although I have been known to connect to our tv so that I can get a larger sized view. Maybe his generation and mine are not that far apart after all.
Austin was going into graphic design, then decided to take the summer and this fall quarter off to re evaluate. He's now thinking maybe he will pursue something in the field of computer's. What gave us the clue that this is an area of passion for him?
