Thundering through the snow
Much to Billy's delight, I turned him out without a rug this morning in order to get a few shots of him galloping in the snow. I find it easier to get the colour balance right with a grey horse in the snow because there is less struggle between the contrast of the subject and it's surroundings. The snow was very light and, when the wind picked up, went billowing up in clouds around him. I am relatively pleased with the experiment, although am looking forwards to a repeat to improve a few bits and bobs!
Muck Monster..
Ali..Had to change this one to B&W because the muck was unbearable to look at..haha..She really does like muck and rolling...the stuff i have on her to keep her clean doesnt make much difference..she can always get it underneath..Grr! Haha
To think she was shining this morning..
