i have this thing with indoor landscapes. since I was little, the idea of a view, a landscape, and large natural spaces condenced into a building makes me very happy and satisfied for some reason. anything from theatre sets, hot houses, natural history museums, building a tent out of blankets and chairs or the way ronnie and i used to play Sea, Land on our carpet at home. More to come on this stuff.
The drawing office, 9 Bridge Street, Abingdon, circa 1980
This is how many traditional small drawing office's used to look - ours was particularly spartan - just bare floorboards (the carpeting stopped at 1st floor level, we were up on the 2nd!) and only a 1-bar electric heater to keep us warm in the winter. Taken at the end of a teabreak, I'd been reading that week's issue of AP.
Taken with Nikon FM with 28mm Vivitar lens & Ilford FP4 film.
