The Clover CCM660W Color Outdoor Bullet Camera is the fast, simple and extremely discreet CCTV video surveillance solution you've been looking for. This camera, housed in a compact metal case, provides high-quality images at high-resolutions and allows users to remotely monitor warehouses, construction sites, parking lots, office buildings and more. Easy to install, the CCM660W is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, and is weather resistant by itself without any separate camera housing.
This camera utilizes a 0.33-inch color CCD (charge-coupled device) sensor, with a resolution of 512-by-492 pixels or 330 TVL (TV lines). The CCM660W includes a 3.6mm lens, and has a usable minimum illumination down to four Lux. The unit's built-in electronic auto iris control, built-in automatic backlight compensation, low-illumination function, and exposure times ranging from 1/60 to 1/100,000 of a second, ensure a high picture quality with user-definable parameters. This camera can provide a frame rate of up to 30 frames-per-second (frames per second), equivalent to a 460-NTSC analog video. Powered via a 12-volt external DC power supply (included), it can operate in temperatures from -10 to 50-degrees Celsius.

About Surveillance Camera Technical Features
Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Thus a sensitivity of three Lux would mean a camera could generate an acceptable picture of a piece-of-paper-sized object that was illuminated by the equivalent of three candles from one meter away. The lower the Lux level, the better the camera's ability to work in low-light conditions. The camera's resolution should be greater than or equal to the resolution supported by the system's recorder or monitor. The S/N, or signal to noise ratio, is an important measure of a camera's quality. A poor camera, low-light conditions or poor wiring causes "noise" which consumes processing power and disk space. A camera with a wide dynamic range is ideal, especially for recording areas in which both indoor and outdoor light are present. CCD (charge-coupled device) sensors provide high-quality images that are less susceptible to noise. CMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor) sensors offer less image quality, but are usually more cost-effective and energy efficient.

I don't do it deliberately, but every time I get a camera, the first shot is of one of my animals. George is usually the closest to me, so she got the honors with the GoPro Hero.

When I'm riding my motorcycle, I'm constantly wishing I had a camera implanted in my eyes. This is cheaper and safer.

There are several models, but I only bought the standard def entry model for several reasons. First: they had it at Costco and once I saw this thing in person I just wanted it right away. Didn't want to wait for shipping.

Mostly, though, there's one critical feature missing from the GoPro lineup that I'm going to wait for, and that's a radio remote. See...this takes still photos like a normal camera when you click the shutter, or you can take them in 2,5,10,30 or 60 second intervals. That's cool. But I want to have the option of just looking at something, hitting a remote button on my handlebar, and taking a photo when I want to take a photo.

Until then, I'm going to have loads of fun playing with this entry model. I will be attaching this to my dogs. Mark my words.

(photo by scott beale, aka laughing squid) intel interviewed people at vloggercon to see what we think intel can do for us. something like that. either way, ted tagami (one of the organizers) asked intel to do this instead of pimping a product and they agreed. i was kind of impressed with intel for that since most companies just want to sell us their wares. i mean, intel wants to do taht as well, but at least they'll try to sell me something i want to buy since i told them how to make it. yu know, ideally.
