Us and our nugget

Us and our nugget

This thing was the ultimate car for our trip :) So cheap to run. The US dollar stinks still. It cruised on the Autostrada at 75-85mph easily, and believe it or not these things have a ton of space for the occupants. Not a whole lot for the belongings, but enough for our two 22" roller suitcases, my camera bag, and day pack. All while not coming above the bottom of the back window :) The space is quite deceptive.
We picked the car up in Rome, and took the scenic route to Florence via Sienna. Then Florence to Pisa to San Gimagnano back to Florence, then Florence to Venice the next day. We filled it twice and did a total of 871 km (541miles) and averaged 38.35 miles to the gallon :) not bad considering the amount of city driving we did and also driving in the country side of Tuscany passing cyclists and slowing for all the small towns. I was very happy with it, and would buy one in a heart beat as a commuter car.

Reggel a vasuti atjaroban feltunt, hogy egy szep modern mozdony all a nagyallomason, Hodmezovasarhelyen. Odahajtva megtudtam, hogy a kecskemeti vaganyzar miatt a Gordulo Orszagut (RoLa) kamionszallito vonata forditott itt, Szolnok-Szentes felol erkezve, a kiskundorozsmai terminal fele tovabbindulas elott. Hazamentem a fenykepezogepemert, majd visszaterve keszitettem ezeket a kepeket, fotoztam azt is, ahogy a vonat nagyon halkan, de nagy erovel elindult es kihuzott az allomasrol.

This morning I saw these two nice Austrian diesel engines at our local railway station in Hodmezovasarhely, Hungary. They were there with a Rolling Highway train which made a detour here due to railroad construction works on the electrified main line. I went home to pick up my camera and came back to take some pictures of the two engines pulling out the train from the station quickly and quite silently.

Growing Yourself Back Up: Understanding Emotional Regression

Someone pushes your buttons . . . you feel rage . . . fear . . . sweaty palms . . . unbidden tears . . . you feel like a kid . . .

We've all experienced moments when we lose control of a situation and ourselves. Now, in Growing Yourself Back Up, the first book to explain the idea of emotional regression to the general reader, bestselling author John Lee identifies the circumstances that cause these seemingly uncontrollable feelings and shows how they are directly tied to our experience as children.

No adult, explains Lee, need ever experience the helpless feelings of childhood again. Here are his proven methods and visualization exercises, developed in his popular workshops, for recognizing, preventing, and diffusing regression in ourselves and others. He teaches, for example, that adults cannot be abandoned, they can only be left; if we're feeling abandoned we're regressing. He also reminds us that no matter how overwhelmed we are, adults always have options; if we believe we don't, we're in a regression.

Growing Yourself Back Up will show you how to:
* develop strong emotional boundaries and convey them to others
* learn the Detour Method that reverses regression
* confront without regressing
* communicate with the authority figures who push your buttons
* minimize regression at family functions

Lee offers hope--as well as practical strategies that work--for conquering those childlike feelings of powerlessness that are almost always rooted in regression.
