television camera: television equipment consisting of a lens system that focuses an image on a photosensitive mosaic that is scanned by an electron beam
A camera is a device that records/stores images. These images may be still photographs or moving images such as videos or movies. The term camera comes from the camera obscura (Latin for "dark chamber"), an early mechanism for projecting images. The modern camera evolved from the camera obscura.

The Americans have this crazy drinking game called "Flip Cup". When they found out that I had never played and that we in Canada played a more progressive drinking game called "Bunnies" (which they were NOT eager to learn - "too complicated". Pffft) they were shocked.
Basically, it's a boat race, and you pour a pretty shameful amount of lager into a plastic cup. You drink the beer, then you have to put the cup down, mouth facing up, and use two fingers to "flip" it so it lands face down on the table. Only when you have successfully "flipped" the cup can the team member on your left drink his or her beer. This continues until one team has finished all their drinks, at which point they cheer, high five, and reset for another round.
In Canada, we'd use the entire can, and when a team LOST, they would have to drink an ADDITIONAL beer to add insult to injury. You could play this dinky game all weekend and you might get a slight buzz by late Sunday night. Look at the piddly amount of beer in those cups (closest to camera). Pathetic. This game needs a solid Commonwealth overhaul.
Poker Night 1/5
Poker Night - Part of a 5 part series, check them all out
While looking through my room I came across a unopened pack of playing cards. Immediately I thought of a poker game gone wrong! I called who else... Shawn and then we got Brian and Charley together and set the whole thing up in the studio. We took about 200 shots but only 2 of the flipping cuz it was just a HUGE pain in the ass to reset the table when there's 500 poker chips on the ground! We had a wind machine on the floor to help send the cards flying. In this shot we also had Cori and Charlies Girlfriend off to the side to throw extra cards in the air. I counted... 3...2...1 and I held down the shutter and took about 3 shots a second for 3 seconds. It was like a club with the strobes going off in rapid succession. When the chips settled and the lights came back on we had one hell of a mess but one kick ass shot.
