Barbie & Krissy - Bedtime Baby W/ Musical Crib (2000)

A comfortably dressed Barbie baby-sits her romper-clad little sister Krissy in this set, which includes a crib and various things a baby needs for bedtime care--bottle, lotion, powder, quilt, and pacifier. A smart idea: Barbie's arms are curved in just the right position to cradle Krissy, and when a lever in her back is pressed, she makes rocking motions.
Though the dolls are impressive, the crib earns special mention. It's tall, made of pearly plastic, and features a sweet, dangling mobile. A pink canopy is decked with stars that really glow in the dark. And as a final touch, Krissy can be rocked to sleep in the crib as it plays a lullaby, thanks to two button cell batteries (not included). --Diane Beall

This is an AA Kelly, Baby Sister of Barbie, that comes with a crib and accessories. I have all that still in the box from 1995.

The doll on the right is "Becky, Friend of Barbie's Sister Kelly." I have her original outfit, but she's wearing a dress I made her for the 2010 season of Runway Monday.

Kelly, New Baby Sister of Barbie! is a 1994 Mattel Playset. Model #12489. Kelly smells Baby Powder Fresh! Included in the box is a 4.5" Kelly doll w/blond hair & blue eyes; Kelly wears a pink Sleeper w/white lace trim & pink flower at neck & white Bunny affect on the feet, and she has a pink Ribbon in her hair. Also included is a white Crib approx. 4-3/4" long x approx. 3" wide with a Movable side rail, and there's a pink blanket w/white lace trim, a pink Mobile w/animal decals that spins around. There's more clothes for Kelly & includes a black Dress w/white lace trim, white lacy Tights, a white Diaper, & a pair of black Shoes. There's a pink Bottle that fits into Kelly's mouth, a pink Rattle, and a pink Feeding Dish w/compartments & a Spoon & a pretend Jar of Baby Food. Also included is a pink Brush & Comb, and a pink Bunny approx. 1.5" tall. Everything you need to Feed, Dress & put Kelly to Sleep! All included items are pretend & intended for the 4.5" Kelly Doll.
