This is a cat I rescued when she was about 2 weeks old. When I got home from work the neighborhood kids brought over this half-cold gray kitten in a shoebox with some old shorts in it. Thankfully I was able to make it to the pet store and get some KMR kitten formula right away and she was an excellent nurser! I remember she was nursing the bottle through the carrier bars when I was bringing her to her foster home.

She ended up going up for adoption at the Manhattan Cat Show and was on the news (tv)! But at that point the foster parent had fallen in love with her and she stayed with that household -- and now here she is!

After having adopted out so many cats that I only do one or two follow-up calls on to make sure everything's okay, it's really nice to see a cat you rescued be happy in a home years later!

I am supposed to be coming up with names for an anti-wrinkle skin care product this morning. I don't know how well I am doing with that, but I think the title of this sounds like a great new Canadian beer.

Canadian beer trivia: During the 1998 Montreal ice storm, Molson Breweries offered free replacement for beer that had been spoiled by freezing and thawing.
