How To Start Baby Food

baby week 28 - fresh mama look!
did I tell you that since I got pregnant my hair grows at a very fast pace? It's amazing.. I had been to the hairdresser 3 months ago, but my hairdresser thought it was 6 months ago..
anyway, she gave me a fresh look this time.. a little more radical than I had expected then I thought, why not? :) and now I'm loving my new look! :)
a little baby update: so far I gained 5 kilos in total. I started at 53.5 and then went down to 52.2 at the first trimestre with all the loss of appetite and now I'm 58.5 :) I'm eating the whole day. I'm not exaggrating.. In a normal day I start with a home-made yoghurt- fruit smoothie, a slice of brown bread with jam&cheese. then I drink milk for lunch and eat sandwiches with salamis & cheese. I eat at least three different types of fruit at work. I drink more smoothies and yoghurt drinks. Coffee is only once a week if I really feel like it. Dinners are always great at home :)) we are never lazy to cook an oven dish, stew, barbecued sardines, and also fish salads as starters. I finish the night with grapes (since I can't drink wine anymore, I need some iron supplements). Sometimes, in the middle of the night I wake up hungry and prepare myself a toast with something, milk and a banana.
So, you calculate how much time I spend for eating.. oh, drinking is another issue. I can drink maybe 3 litres of water a day :)) of course it comes at a price which is visiting the ladies very often! :)) even at night.. :-/
anyway.. :) that's all for the food update.. :) the little one is doing great I guess.. we started to see little hadns/elbows/feet pushing my belly :) it makes me laugh loud sometimes, at least my roomie is OK with my sudden outbursts :)) and Alex just looks forward to them :)) our baby is very responsive to the daddy's hands :)

photos taken in Southern New Jersey, USA the first day the baby robins started to be more active. I'm sure they will be learning how to fly soon. Looks like one of the baby robins is missin. There was three of them in the beginning. I've only seen two in the nest the past couple days. Hope the blue jays didn't get it. poor thing..
