Chinook Twin Peaks Guide 6-Person Plus Fiberglass Pole Tent

Chinook Twin Peaks Guide 6-Person Plus Fiberglass Pole Tent

Featuring another innovative design concept in family/group tents: Chinook’s InterDome, a 2 tent-in-1 system, for double the living space. One very roomy sleeping dome, plus a functional and practical screened dome with a removable heavy-duty floor will make you the envy of the campground.

Featuring Chinook's InterDome two-in-one system--one of the most innovative design concepts in family/group tents--the Twin Peaks Guide 6 keeps up to six people comfortable at the campsite. The InterDome system provides two separate domed rooms: a very roomy sleeping dome and a functional and practical screened dome room with a removable heavy-duty floor.

The Twin Peaks Guide 6 includes two domed rooms that stand 6 feet 9 inches tall.
You can use the domed rooms--both of which stand at a generous 6 feet 9 inches tall--as two individual bedrooms, or you can use one as a bedroom and the other as a storage or dining room (the screened dome is large enough to fit a picnic table). The InterDome system is ideal for people who don't want to tie themselves down to one camping style: Sometimes the tent sleeps a bunch of people, sometimes it sleeps only a few but offers a ton of extra room for lounging. The tent also includes an extra-long full-coverage fly, which includes delta panels and a minimum 2,000 PU waterproof coating. This keeps the tent dry even during rainstorms, with a bathtub-style floor and waterproof hot-taped seams adding further moisture protection.
To keep campers comfortable on warm evenings, the Twin Peaks Guide 6 includes integrated no-see-um mesh windows in both D-style doors and all vestibule openings. The mesh windows not only provide plenty of ventilation, but also give campers an excellent view of their surroundings. The two D-style doors, meanwhile, provide multiple egress points, meeting the needs of campers who'd rather not crawl across their tentmates when exiting or entering the tent. Other features include a heavy-duty oxford nylon floor that stands up to wear and tear; two large doors on the fly that double as sun and rain awnings; heavy-duty fiberglass poles for reliability and strength; durable #10 nylon coil zippers on all doors and #8s on all windows; heavy-duty guy points; and a large gear loft for added storage space. The Twin Peaks Guide 6 comes with all the necessary tent pegs, guy lines, and storage sacks for the tent, pegs, and poles.

The Fiberglass Boat Repair Manual

"This book will save you money and grief before you can say woven roving."--Sailing
"A comprehensive and accurate work that should benefit almost any owner of a fiberglass boat."--SAIL
"This book will prove a valuable addition to the library of any boat builder or owner who is seriously interested in doing his own repairs, as well as intercepting minor problems before they become major projects."--Boatbuilder
Are there hairline cracks in your boat's deck or topsides gelcoat? Have her color and luster faded over the years? Does she have deck leaks? Has she been holed? Is her hull oilcanning in a sea? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, this book is for you. This is the definitive guide for fiberglass boat repair and beautification, covering not just cosmetic dings and scratches, but also major repairs of structural damage to hull and decks. It will show you how to:
replace deteriorated gelcoat, or repair the flaws in an existing gelcoat and recoat it with polyurethane or marine alkyd enamel paint;
strengthen a weak and overly flexible hull or deck;
tab in loose hull liners and joinerwork;
make templates from the good side of a hull to reshape large shattered or missing areas on the other side;
repair or replace water-saturated deck cores;
repair keels, rudders, and centerboards;
rebed and refasten underwater and on-deck hardware;
rebed, refasten, and strengthen hull-to-deck joints;
fix broken hatches, and make new ones when necessary;
treat the symptoms and causes of overstressed hulls.
That beautiful craft swinging at anchor or nestled dockside, her topsides reflecting water and sky like a polished mirror, could be yours. Here's how.
