(Bridal bouquet) The floral arrangement carried by the bride in the ceremony and often later tossed over her shoulder to single guests at the reception. Bouquets come in many different styles, such as "beidermeier" and "cascade."
Gerbera ( or ) L. is a genus of ornamental plants from the sunflower family (Asteraceae). It was named in honour of the German naturalist Traugott Gerber, a friend of Carolus Linnaeus.
Another wedding bouquet. For a work friend. She purchased mauve and pink gerbera daisies, purple-ish hydrangeas and purple and white filler (statis?).
Arranged with hydrangea in center, gerbs alternating around, slightly higher in back so when held, the tips of the petals of the gerbs would show. Simple roundish clutch, no holder. Wrapped with brown floral tape and pink, purple and ivory ribbon tied in a simple bow.
