Tunnel Tubing, Kaua'i
Jake and I went 'tunnel' tubing in a man-made ditch system consisting of canals and tunnels that were used to water the sugar cane fields back in the day.
There were five tunnels built by laborers hired by the Lihue Sugar Plantation. The longest being 3/4 of a mile long. It was actually kind of cool and very relaxing. The water in the canal is fresh water run off from mountain rain water.
