Marketing

1. My name is Evelien, but people close to me call me Eef. Whenever they call me Evelien, I know I'm in trouble!

2. When I grew up, my sister had to spend lots and lots of time in hospital. That mentally broke me and whenever I need to go to hospital I freak out. Even the scent of hospitals make me want to throw up...Same with doctors...and dentists...

3. I loooove every movie with Colin Farrell in it. Al Pacino, Edward Norton, Sean Connery and Daniel Craig movies are great too!

4. I have the entire collection of James Bond movies. Oh, and the entire collection of Thunderbirds...

5. I sleep with my socks on. A clean pair of course...

6. Italian food is my favorite.

7. I collect cameras. I have a Holga, two Polaroids, a digital camera, a canon EOS and there's a Fuji Instax on the way.

8. I love playing Nintendo games. Zelda is the best!

9. People think I'm a really shy girl, but really I'm not! I sometimes just like to watch people talk to eachother instead of joining in.

10. I'm addicted to chocolate. There have been times where I used to eat a big chunk of chocolate before I ate my breakfast...

11. I did all three degrees of Reiki. So I can teach Reiki to other people. And yet, I only taught three people!

12. And I know how to work with Bach Flower Remedies.

13. I'm afraid of confined spaces. I don't use the elevator if it's not necessary. I remember one time when I was 38 weeks pregnant and I visited my mom in hospital and one of the nurses stopped the elevator for me, but I decided to climb four stairs instead.

14. I loose my keys on a regular basis.

15. And my mobile phone too...(but I'm working on it)...

16. I love listening to MUSE.

17. I love knitting, crocheting, art journaling, sewing, etc.

18. Tea is my favorite drink. Rooibos especially.

19. My favorite treat is waffle with warm cherries on top. It tastes even better when you take a warm waffle, put some chocolate icecream on it and add lots of warm cherries on top of the icecream. If there's a food that's sexy, this is it!

20. I don't have a favorite color.

21. I'd love to get a Japanese sleeve tattoo, but I never will.

22. I read English books most of the time.

23. I watch BBC's Eastenders every week on repeat.

24. Crowds are not my thing.

25. I hardly ever go to sleep before midnight.

Sabre is the ginger one who you can see, Bella is a tabby who is next to him. They are two young semi feral cats who first came to NANNA when they were feral kittens, they socialised them and they became so used to people, then they rehomed them, unfortunatly to the wrong type of person. The person returned them feral again, and NANNA don't know what happened to them, most likely just left them outside to fend for themselves, never having human contact.

NANNA has a site at a field where most of the animals are, but some are up at the house until they have room to bring them down. Once I was working at the house, and saw these cats, they looked very scared, but I thought they were just uncomfortable in their surroundings. Then, my mum came up to collect me from the house one day, she saw the two and asked about their story - it turns out that they would have to stay with NANNA for the rest of their lives (in a pen) because they couldn't rehome them, and they didn't have time to help them.

I needed to help them, it's not fair and they deserve a life with a family who can look after them properly and love them. I'm going to use Bach Flower Remedies and T touch to try and reach them, and I won't give up.

We are just seeing how they're settling in for now, but they are already more relaxed then I've seen them, so I think it's safe to say that we've adopted them :) So yes, please welcome Sabre and Bella.

Also, about Simba, we still haven't found him. But we've searched the roads and checked any farm traps, we've handed out flyers through doors so people could check sheds/lofts etc., we've put him on a missing pets listing, he's microchipped. He also went missing in the night and doesn't go near anyone (he also looks like a moggie) so I don't think anyone's taken him.

It's also been continuously nice weather, always warm, and when it rains he probably doesn't feel it because of his weather proof fur. There's a farm with tons of feilds and rabbits everywhere, so I'm just hoping that he's up there somewhere on a kitty holiday or something, because our old cat Scampy did this a couple years ago - disappeared for 5-6 weeks, then we found her on a wet and cold day in the farm, and she was fine.

I won't give up on him, either.
