I've been away from SL for some time now, but in my periodic visits to Fashion Planet, I heard tell of a full-perms skin that people were enjoying, wearing, and modding. One thing lead to another, and in the end I just had to log back on to see what the fuss was about.

I usually wear Sin Skins, and I love their work, but I've never found a skin by any maker that felt quite like me. It was wonderful to have the chance to mod a skin (already skillful to start with) to include my birthmarks, freckles, lip color, and preference for no/low makeup—like my red hair, these are features that define me. This is the result, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. I'm also working on some more makeup options, because modding the base skin was so much fun.

Changes made:
Base skins used were Re (80%) and Se (20%) for skin tone.
Removed highlights above upper lip, toned down shadows below lower lip.
Recolored lips, dimmed lower lip highlight, added upper lip highlight, added lower lip center shadow.
Increased definition of philtrum.
Increased definition on nose (sides of bridge and upside of tip).
Increased brow width.
Added slight eyeliner and eyeshadow (enough to provide definition).
Widened and changed angle of clavicle; decreased shadows on upside of clavicle.
Recolored fingernails and toenails.
Lightened nipples significantly.
Decreased length of vulva.
Increased length of spine.
Added freckles across nose bridge, clavicle, shoulders, and arms; added birthmarks throughout.
And anything else I've by now forgotten.
