I remember reading this quote in an Ann Landers column when I was single and convinced that I would never meet anyone. I think I even cut it out and taped it on my refrigerator to torture myself. I know now that while romantic love is nice, there is so much more: a close family, considerate friends, a loyal pet. Have I mentioned that I want a dog?

*Today's Random Fact: This photo was taken through the viewfinder of my father's camera (but I had to do it in reverse, which probably doesn't make it a real TTV). My mom gave it to me when I saw her last weekend. I won't use it as an everyday camera because I'm too impatient to use up a roll of film and wait for developing, but I do love having it for sentimental reasons.
There is also film left in the camera. I don't know if it's still OK after nearly four years, but I will get it developed. I just hope there aren't any naked pictures of my mom on there... Hey, I had to add a (very) little humor -- I have a reputation to uphold!

I had a stressful night last night: bad day at work, second shift at Salsa, Statistics homework, into bed for an early bedtime.
Pepsi Throwback had been announced in December, but I was never able to find any. Justin came home tonight saying he was going to "make my night," and in his arms when he came through the door were these four bottles, plus an open one for me to try. My eyes welled up and over because that's how I am.
And by how I am, I mean: lucky.
