Hear Music was this awesome store on 3rd Street that had listening stations before they were cool, and they had staff who were absolute music junkies, with this huge variety of obscure music and they would give you great recommendations and help you find local artists and it was a music lover's dream.
Then Starbuck bought it, and now they have coffee cup holders at the listening stations, the music stations don't even work half the time and they've hired pimply teenagers to sell Ashlee Simpson CDs.

Whenever we were grinding coffee beans, she was unhappy with all the noise so we showed her how to cover her hears.
Now she knows what it means and she likes to play and "cover her hears" just to hear the difference in the sounds she perceives...or simply to hear us tell her "hey, you're covering your hears" (but in french, of course!).
