I have no idea why but this man had more security than anyone at the convention, including Hillary Clinton. This photo had to be taken with a telephoto lens because there was no way you could get close to him. There were baracades, secret service, and even the volunteers were keeping people away. At one point I almost got into a fight with a convention volunteer because she actually pushed me to keep from taking a photo.
Yes We Can
Last night, my boy John Edwards finally got off his ass to come forward and throw his endorsement to Barack Obama. So, it was a nice coincidence that our new shirts from Cafe Press finally came in yesterday. And while it may not be official yet, it looks as though Obama may have secured the nomination. Clinton is a fine candidate, but I'm very glad Obama, the candidate that tried to stay above the fray, was the favored.
